Tecni Nova
was founded by the Muñoz Melero family in 1985 in Yecla, a city in the southeast of Spain with a tradition in furniture manufacturing. Antonio Muñoz, together with Enriqueta Melero, applied their experience of 30 years in this industrial sector to create a new company dedicated to the manufacture of sofas and armchairs.
The quality of the products, based on craftsmanship, the use of the best materials and the strong personality of their designs brought success, placed it as a reference in the Spanish national market. The catalog of products was extended to other elements for the home, including furniture, lighting and decoration accessories, which together with the upholstery, offers a complete proposal for home furnishings.
Since 1990, the family understood the need to explore international markets and Juan Carlos Muñoz was in charge of carrying out this task, reaching today, with presence in more than 40 countries. In 2010 Juan Carlos Muñoz himself, second generation, becomes CEO and in 2012, his brother Miguelangel Muñoz, adds his experience as an architect to the direction of Art of the company.
At present, the manufacture of Tecni Nova is centralized in its Yecla factory, occupying an area of 15,000 m2 and 2,000 m2 for its main showroom. The company seeks the excellence of its work based on the concepts of quality and exclusivity. For this, during the design process, products with differentiated identity are developed, rigorous in the concepts and in constant renovation. The best textile editors in the world add their added value to the Tecni Nova upholstery, in the same way that happens with the rest of suppliers of materials and finishes, in a strict selection process.
The manufacturing rhythm is marked by the manual manufacture, piece by piece with the know-how of the artisans, the taste for details, the personalization and the quality control of each of their manufactured furniture.
